The girls were devastated! Due to adverse weather conditions the football tournament at Benfield School had to be cancelled.
However, we were still up for a game, so some of our Year 5 & 6 girls decided to have a kick about.
We trained with technique, talked tactics and played with purpose!
It was a game of two halves – but a match full of fun!
This was our second visit to Westgate Sports Centre where we joined other schools in a range of activities based around the theme of animals. We enjoyed all of the different activities but our favourite was definitely the soft play area. We walked all the way there and all the way back and we felt so much fitter and healthier by the end of the day.
